Bastille Box Set

I created a custom collector’s edition box set for Bastille, a British alternative rock band. This project includes a deluxe double-album box set, featuring custom packaging, two vinyl LPs, and a lyrics booklet. As a huge fan of their music, I wanted to developed a new visual identity for the band that was an evolution of their current iconography and sound.

Bastille’s more recent music focuses on global issues such as corruption, violence, and the insidious nature of mass media. I wanted to reflect these themes in the album box set, so I created visual motifs to represent censorship vs. truth. This included using the triangular symbols of WWCOMMS, a fictional, sinister Big Brother-like corporation that the band created to promote their second album.
